Planting our vegetables

On Friday last week, we planted seedlings in our Garden. Firstly our teacher made us pick a plant, and I picked Beans. Then we walked to our garden, but we had to be quiet because Room 7 and 8 were working. Then our teacher brought her husband's gigantic fork because we had to take out the weeds and turn over the soil. I had a turn, Here's me using the fork. It is good for us to grow our own vegetables because it is cheaper and they are fresher.

After that we planted our plant of choice. Our teacher showed us how to plant our plant of choice. Put your plant container up side down then squeeze, gently on the pot. Then pull the plant out gently, then dig a small hole, plant the seedling and then cover the hole firmly with soil. During that process we found worms and one of us,l Jacob found a hand full of worms. 

Then we finished and we sprinkled egg shells on the garden to stop the snails from eating the new plants.
