Tukutuku Patterns

Last week we made Tukutuku Patterns. Our teacher gave us a paper with lines on it. We cut out the lines and got red and black lines of paper that looks like this

Next we put this red and black piece of paper on the other big piece of paper with the cut out lines. Then do under over under over. It took a few weeks to do. Then we gave the extra pieces a hair cut. CUT CUT CUT. Then we glued the edges down on the white paper. Then we were all finished and this one's mine.

SAVING MONEY$

Today a visitor visited us that works from the  ASB Bank, called Nicky. She was teaching us how to SAVE MONEY. First she told us, "if I say money, you say save."
Next she asked us what our dream are. Some people said 'Artist', 'Pro at everything,' to be a rugby player, singer, and lots more. I was gonna say to be a YOUTUBER & ARTIST but I was nervous.
After that she told us to train hard to achieve your dreams. Then she told us a story about her classmate. The story was about him wanting to be an ALL BLACKšŸ„¬. and  there was a rugby trip but he was a poor kid ::< He had an idea :).Every Tuesday he would bring in 10 of his neighbours' rubbish bins for $5. In one month he got $200. Everyone said wowwwwwwwwwwwww!. We enjoyed listening to Nicky and I will try and save money for the future.
